In Black Merce the audience holds the controls. They create the score, decide the boundaries of the performance, and in the exchange come to know the performer's life as a dancer.

Performed at Joe's Movement Emporium (Mt. Rainier, MD), the Washington Ballet (Washington, DC), and the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (Fairfax, VA).
